About Me

My Story

Over the last couple of years, I had been contributing to the cause of the environment through various plantation drives and inspirational talks. I had motivated many students, NGOs, and community people to plant trees, discard single-use plastics, use kitchen waste as manure, lead a sustainable life, make the best out of waste, Grow Kitchen Gardens, Grow Herbs, etc.• By profession, I'm a dedicated and accomplished academician with more than 33 years of professional experience in teaching English Language and Literature at Undergraduate and 20 years of experience at Post-Graduate levels. I'm presently working as Head of the Department of English at S. B. Garda Arts and P. K. Patel College of Commerce, Navsari. I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Agra University, Agra. I had secured a Ph. D. degree from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat on her thesis titled “ Representation of History: A Study of Partition Event in the Selected Novels.” I'm also on the panel list of external examiners for Ph. D. at various other universities as well.

By profession, I’m a dedicated and accomplished academician with over 33 years of experience teaching English Language and Literature at the Undergraduate level and 20 years at the Post-Graduate level. Currently, I serve as the Head of the Department of English at S. B. Garda Arts and P. K. Patel College of Commerce, Navsari. I hold undergraduate and postgraduate degrees from Agra University, Agra, and earned a Ph.D. from Veer Narmad South Gujarat University, Surat. My Ph.D. thesis is titled “Representation of History: A Study of the Partition Event in the Selected Novels.” Additionally, I am on the panel of external examiners for Ph.D. at various other universities.

Conducting Interviews of Partition Survivors as Citizen Historian on behalf of The 1947 Partition Archive.

Presented papers at various national and international conferences

Dr. Radha Gautam has presented papers at prestigious national and international conferences, including in Brest, France, and Bali, Indonesia. She has chaired sessions and served as a resource person and subject expert at various institutes. Additionally, Dr. Gautam contributes to editorial boards and paper review committees for numerous journals and conferences.

Documenting 1947 Partition Oral Histories with The 1947 Partition Archive and Stanford University

Dr. Radha is actively contributing as a verified Citizen Historian with The 1947 Partition Archive & Stanford University Libraries, USA. She is engaged in documenting oral histories of the partition survivors. So far as a citizen historian she has conducted interviews of partition migrants (1947) from Sialkot, Pasrur, Rawalpindi, and Sindh.
